Every Nara piece is built to order in Milnerton, Cape Town. Here is everything you need to know about getting yours home.
Where we deliver.
We deliver anywhere within the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality. If you live within the boundary below, you're covered at the flat R500 rate.

How long does it take?
Every Nara sofa is built to order in our Milnerton workshop. We do not hold stock — your piece is made specifically for you after you place your order.
Build time is 10–14 business days from order confirmation to your door. Once your piece is ready, we will contact you to book a delivery slot that works for you.
Business days exclude weekends and South African public holidays. Orders placed close to a public holiday may take slightly longer — we will always keep you updated.
What to expect.
Delivery includes a two-person crew who carry your piece in and place it in your chosen room. You do not need to worry about getting it through the door yourself.
- We confirm your slot. We will call or WhatsApp to arrange a date and two-hour delivery window that works for you.
- Delivery day. Our team arrives with your piece. They carry it in, unwrap it, and position it exactly where you want it.
- Inspect before you sign. Please check your piece carefully before the team leaves. Note any visible damage on the delivery slip while they are still present — this is important for any claims.
- Signature required. Once you are happy, sign off and enjoy your new piece.
If something does not look right on delivery, do not sign off. Contact us at hello@naraliving.co.za immediately and we will resolve it.
Outside Cape Town
Deliveries beyond the metro.
We are currently working on a delivery solution for areas outside the Cape Town Metro — including George, Hermanus, the Overberg, and further afield.
If you are outside our current zone and would like a piece, get in touch. We will do our best to arrange something and quote you directly.
Common questions.
Can I choose my delivery date?
Yes. Once your piece is ready, we will contact you to schedule a date and two-hour window that suits you. We operate Monday to Saturday.
Does someone need to be home?
Yes. A signature is required on delivery and someone must be present to inspect the piece before the team leaves. Please make sure a responsible adult is available during your delivery window.
Will they carry it upstairs or into a specific room?
Yes — the R500 rate includes a two-person crew who will carry your piece to your chosen room and position it. If access is unusually difficult (very narrow stairwells, no lift above the 3rd floor), please let us know in advance so we can advise.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Inspect your piece before signing off. Note any damage on the delivery slip while the crew is still present, then email us at hello@naraliving.co.za with photos within 48 hours. We will arrange a repair or replacement at no cost to you. See our full Returns & Refunds policy for details.
Can I track my order?
We will keep you updated at each stage — order confirmation, when production starts, and when your piece is ready to schedule. We are a small team and prefer a direct conversation over an automated tracker. If you ever want a status update, just reach out.
I live outside the Cape Town Metro — can you still deliver?
We are working on it. In the meantime, contact us at hello@naraliving.co.za and we will do our best to arrange delivery and quote you directly.
